The Lobster collection is a gold mine of old images in black and white or colour ranging from the birth of cinema to the beginning of the 1960's, it covers all genres of film and various subjects : silent and sound newsreels (especially the Universals), documentaries, war films, cartoons, slapstick, jazz, as well as music-hall numbers from the turn of the 20th Century, westerns, adventure films and musicals from Hollywood's Golden Age, French comedies of the thirties and forties, and amateur films.
